“it will be unfair on the fans of the series to discontinue making new Witcher games”
Witcher 3: Wild hunt was a spectacular game. If you haven’t heard the latest news.. Witcher 3: Wild hunt had received this year GOTY award at the recently held Videogame Awards 2015. The developers behind this brilliant game had also won the Developer of the year award at the same event.
Those that have completed Witcher 3: Wild Hunt know that it’s sadly the end of Geralt’s Story. Fortunately CD Projekt Red has confirmed that it will not be the end of the franchise! CEO of CD Projekt Red himself said that Witcher 4 is confirmed and will be coming in the future!
“It’s too early to talk about it, but it’s not like we’re forgetting about this brand,” he said on Polish TV station TVN24 BiS. “It wouldn’t be fair towards the fans. We work within this universe for over a dozen years now and I don’t think it’s going to be the end of it.”
Witcher 4 confirmed for the future!
Witcher 4 release date is still quite awhile away. Not only is CD Projekt Red still working on DLC for Witcher 3: Wild hunt. They’re also working on another action-RPG game called Cyberpunk 2077. The next DLC being released for Witcher 3 is Blood and Wine. Scheduled to be available sometime in 2016. CD Projekt Red promises this will add a further 20 hours of fresh new gameplay.
With the massive amount of content Witcher 3 has to offer already, along with the upcoming DLCs. It’s fair to say that you’ll definitely have some hunting to do until the Witcher 4 details are announced.
The direction CD Projekt Red wants to take the Witcher 4 game is still unclear, but its safe to say that it’ll be one hell of a game!
