Loot Drops In Tom Clancy's The Division
Through Tom Clancy's The Division update 1.4, Ubisoft will be increasing the loot availability, giving players more upgrade opportunities. And in order to achieve this, the developers have created "common pools of drops" -- something that specifically applies to in-game enemies. Simply put, every enemy in the game will now be able to drop almost all types of gears, with players having the ability to upgrade all of them.
Availability Of Tom Clancy's The Division Gear Sets
Unlike before, with the new update, all Tom Clancy's The Division Gear Sets will now be made available to players. For instance, in the past, fans can only acquire FireCrest Gear Set from the titular Incursion called Dragon's Nest as well as in the Underground. Now, in update 1.4, these will be readily available especially to players who didn't buy either the latest DLC or the Season Pass.
Tom Clancy's The Division Dark Zone
Apparently, the loot system in Tom Clancy's The Division Dark Zone will be pretty much the same. That it's still where players can acquire the largest quantity of gear -- which is a lot faster than anywhere inside the game. Ubisoft explains that there are two reasons for doing such. One is the fact that the said area is considered as the most dangerous zone, and second, it offers the highest concentration in terms of veteran and/or elite enemies.
The Weighting Of Tom Clancy's The Division Gear Sets
The upcoming Tom Clancy's The Division will also introduce a couple of changes to the Weighting With All Gear Sets. If some gear sets only tend to drop in certain incursions, in update 1.4, things will be completely different. A new system will be implemented, allowing the final incursion rewards to be weighed on a particular equipment slot. This means that final rewards, unlike in 1.3, will now follow a very predictable pattern.
