Marvel & Telltale Games Game Series Announced for Year 2017

Marvel and Telltale Games have revealed a graphic adventure game series based on an unconfirmed Marvel property and it is set to be release in 2017.

To quote the new Marvel Telltale Games Series announcement:

“Marvel and Telltale Games Teaming Up for 2017

Announced this evening in San Francisco, we’re excited to reveal an all-new partnership with the incredible team at Marvel Entertainment. We’ll be teaming up on the development of an upcoming Telltale game series project set to premiere in 2017.

As you can see, details are pretty vague at the moment on how the game will look like and how the experience will feel like but for now, at least we know that a game is being developed by Marvel and Telltale Games for 2017. And to give a brief statement based on our point of view, we think that it's an episodic game based on the heroes of the Marvel comics. Well, it's Telltale that is great at story-telling games and Marvel which we know are the powerhouse of Superheroes. So, it's very obvious we think.

The Toren videogame release date is set for May 12, 2015 exclusively for PC & PS4. Toren is a narrative-driven Action Adventure with stylish graphics and a compelling story developed by an Indie-studio out of Brazil called “Swordtales”.

An Adult-Only Shooter Game Named "Hatred" Coming to PC this Year

The Hatred videogame release date is on June 1, 2015 exclusively for PC. The Adults-Only “AO”-rated isometric third-person shooter is in development by Polish Development Studio “Destructive Creations”.

After releasing on PC (Microsoft Windows), the developers hope to bring “Hatred” to Steam & GOG, if the platforms will allow it.

Considering the Adults-Only Rating, for “Intense Violence”, “Blood & Gore” & “Strong Language”, there’s a possibility “Hatred” won’t be allowed. Traditionally AO-Rated games are also banned from being released on console platforms. Will “Hatred” be any different? Time will tell.

“Hatred is an isometric shooter with a disturbing atmosphere of mass killing, where the player takes the role of a cold blood antagonist, who is full of hatred for humanity. It’s a horror, but here YOU are the villain.

Wander the outskirts of New York State, seeking for victims on seven free-roam levels. Fight against law enforcement and take a journey into the antagonist’s hateful mind. The question you may ask is: Why do they do this?

These days, when a lot of games are heading to be polite, colorful, politically correct and trying to be some kind of higher art, rather than just a piece of entertainment – we wanted to create something against trends. Something different, something that could give the player a pure, gaming pleasure.

Here comes our game, which takes no prisoners and makes no excuses. We say ‘yes, it is a game about killing people’ and the only reason the antagonist is doing that sick stuff is his deep-rooted hatred.

The player has to ask himself what can push any human being to mass-murder. We provoke this question using Unreal Engine 4, pushing its physics (or rather “PhysX”) systems to the limits and trying to make the visuals as good as possible.

It’s not a simple task, because of the game’s non-linear structure and a lot of characters on the screen. But here at Destructive Creations, we are an experienced team and we know how to handle the challenge!”

Hatred made all kinds of headlines due to it’s extreme-violence and it’s twisted ideology, which literally casts players as a mass-killer; and the game rewards them for mowing down innocents, civilians, cops & government officials alike on a genocidal rampage. The developers say Hatred is a reaction to the “PC”-environment we live in today where Political Correctness has run amok. They say Hatred eschews politeness, colorfulness, and the idea of “games as art”; instead giving the player only one goal; “Kill everything & murder everyone.”

The developers say “Hatred” is a return to the rebellious roots of the videogame medium, where games like Grand Theft Auto, Manhunt, Mortal Kombat, Carmageddon, Thrill Kill, Night Trap & Doom made waves & news headlines (not to mention big sales and notoriety) for their controversial, non-filtered, violent adult-content.

Of course the premise of this game takes things to another level… And has more in common with the indie game “Super Columbine Massacre RPG!” than the mainstream games above (by comparison); although “Hatred” is being made by a very large team of developers with a much higher-budget and much higher fidelity visuals than the Columbine indie-game.

The debut trailer for Hatred got a huge reaction that even surprised the developers, who stated that Hatred has no “fake philosophy” and only offers surface-entertainment and is made to make players question “Why?” They also say Hatred doesn’t cross a moral boundery, and those who disagree with what it offers can opt not to play it. The ambient music & dark graphical asthetic in the game was intentionally created to be completely devoid of joy, where nothing is justified, it just happens.

Hatred gained infamy after the game was originally pulled by Steam on Steam Greenlight… but then reposted with a personal letter of apology from Valve-founder Gabe Newell. Reaction to the game’s announcement by the media, mainstream & gaming press, has been largely negative; however that press gained the game widespread excitement from many gamers; especially after seeing the very polished gameplay in action.

Here is the guide on how to unlock all 77 badges in NBA 2K15.

But before you read it below, please read first the important key notes so that you will not have problem on unlocking each badges in the famous sport game this 2015.

Important Notes:
  • Simulating games will not count towards earning badges. You must play the games to meet the requirements.
  • Only one badge can be earned in MyPark / Jordan Rec Center (Swagger).
  • Badges can be earned by playing on any difficulty.
  • Unless specifically noted, any position can earn any badge.
  • Unlike what many believe, having the Cool and Collected or Volume Shooter badges will not prevent you from getting “hot” (which is required to earn Unfazed and Microwave).
  • Getting ejected or fouling out of a game will not impact your ability to earn badges.
  • For the ankle breaker dribble move badges, like Killer Crossover, you’ll generally have better luck earning them if you try the moves when you’re within 25 feet of the basket.
  • When earning a badge requires you to meet the requirements “in a single season”, it means just that. You cannot carry over stats or games played to the next season to earn the badge.

Below is the details on how to unlock all badges in NBA 2K15: 

Alpha Dog
You must be the highest rated offensive player on your team. You need to play 60% of the teams minutes per game in a running 30 game window (i.e. the last 30 games and you cannot earn it until you’ve played at least 25 games). If you change teams, or a new player comes to your team, and you are no longer the highest rated offensive player on the team, you’ll lose Alpha Dog.

Beta Dog
You must be the second highest rated offensive player on your team. You need to play 60% of the teams minutes per game in a running 30 game window (i.e. the last 30 games and you cannot earn it until you’ve played at least 25 games). If you change teams, or a new player comes to your team, and you are no longer the second highest rated offensive player on the team, you’ll lose Beta Dog.

Prime Time
You must play better in games of “significance” than non-significant games. Significant games are games against rivals, power teams, playoff games, hometown visits and games where you are playing against the last team you played for (if it applies). You must play 10 significant games within the season. To determine if you’re playing “better”, we have a fairly powerful algorithm that looks at various statistics.

Cool and Collected
If you never reach “Frozen” in your offensive hot/cold status in a running 10 game window (i.e. last 10 games), you will earn Cool and Collected. When you have two blue rings in your player indicator, you are considered Frozen.

Road Dog
You must play better on the road than at home. We look at a running 20 game window, and you cannot earn this badge until you’ve played at least 20 games. The same algorithm is used for this badge that is used for Prime Time.

Closer
In the final 40% of the 4th quarter, as well as all overtimes (entire overtime), you must shoot 50% or higher from the field. The game must be within 10 points, and in this 4th quarter / OT time frame to count. Once you’ve tallied up a total of 40 field goal attempts in this time frame, and followed the rest of the rules, you will earn Closer.

Fierce Competitor
If you shoot 50% or better on at least 50 total field goal attempts when your team is down 10 or more, you will earn Fierce Competitor.

Spark Plug
In a 6 game running window (you cannot earn until 6 games have been played), you must average at least 7 points per game while coming off the bench.

Swagger
Use the in-game “ambient button” in MyPark 50 times

Enforcer
Get 10 non-flagrant, hard fouls in a single season

Mentor
Reach year 4

Heart and Soul
Reach year 4, but you must stay with the same team all 4 years

Floor General
Have a career assist average of 5 or more, play at least 30 games in a season or career, and raise your Playmaker discipline to Level 18.

Defensive Anchor
Play at least 30 games in a season or career and raise your Defender discipline to Level 18.

Gatorade® Hardened
Play 20 games in a row where you average 80% of the teams minutes or more. Stamina and Durability attributes must be as follows:
  • PG, SG, SF: Stamina & Durability 90
  • PF, C: Stamina 85, Durability 90
All-Time Great
In your last 15 played games (you must play at least 15), divide your field goal attempts by your assists. If the ratio of FGA to Assists is higher than this, you’ll earn All-Time Great. It is possible to lose this badge in favor of Low Ego.
  • PG: 4 to 1 FGA to Assist ratio
  • SG: 4.5 to 1 FGA to Assist ratio
  • SF: 5 to 1 FGA to Assist ratio
  • PF: 8 to 1 FGA to Assist ratio

This is earned by agreeing to shoot around extra before the game with either your teammate or the assistant coach in the scene where they ask you to do so.

Keep It Real/Pat My Back
This is earned based on your performance in the next 5 games after being given a motivational-type speech in a scene by either his teammate or the assistant coach. Improved stats lead to the Pat My Back badge, and worse stats lead to the Keep It Real badge.

Laid Back/Expressive
These are earned through your responses in almost all scenes. Answers that are on the mellow/humble side of things will lead to the Laid Back badge, while answers on the excited/arrogant side of things will lead to the Expressive badge.

Unpredictable
This is earned if you get either the Laid Back or Expressive badge first, and then you start shifting your answers in scenes enough towards the other end of the spectrum.

Mind Games
This is earned through by giving the extreme, over-the-top response in a handful of scenes, particularly those involving trash-talking, or when first joining a new team.

Unfazed
In the last 15 games played, get your player “Hot” for 4 straight gameplay minutes, 3 different times. When you have two red rings in your player indicator, you are considered “Hot”. This can be while on offense, defense, or both.

Volume Shooter
In a single season, have at least 8 games where you attempt 25 field goals or more

Microwave
Get your player “Hot” on offense at some point in the game for 5 consecutive games. When you have two red rings in your player indicator, you are considered “Hot”.

Corner Specialist
In a single season, make 25 corner three pointers, while shooting 40% or better on your last 25 corner threes. The corner is where the baseline and the sideline meet.

Screen Outlet
In a single season, set 100 screens. Contact with the defender must be made for it to be considered a screen.

Deadeye
Make 100 well-contested jumpers from 15 feet or further from the hoop in a single season. Keep in mind it will be more difficult for you to earn this badge on the easier difficulties.

Limitless Range
In a single season, make 30 long-distance three pointers (i.e. 26 feet or further from the basket0, while shooting 30% or better in your long-distance makes this season.

Bank Is Open
Make 30 jumpers off the backboard in a single season. Layups, hooks, heaves and floaters do not count.

Tear Dropper
In a single season, attempt 50 runners or floaters.

Fade Ace
Take 30 fade-away jumpers in a single season.

Shot Creator
In a single season, take 200 of the following types of moving shots:
  • Pull-ups
  • Spin Shots

Shay & Vella’s Story Continued

Welcome to the Broken Age Act 2 walkthrough! 

The game’s creator Tim Schafer recommends you play through Act 1 again before you start Act 2 to get a story refresher course. To quote: “There are just so many hints and story set ups that happen in Act 1 that you need to remember for Act 2 to make sense. Anyway, whatevs. You don’t have to start over. That’s just my recommendation. I’m like that waiter that tells you how to eat your food. No actual legal authority, but you know he’s right about the ponzu sauce.”

Vella begins inside the beast that she knocked out at the end of Act 1. Whereas Shay emerges on the Shellmound Beach where Mog Chothra fell, where he meets his dad and wanders to the left to look for help.
Act 2 Finale Last Puzzle Solution & Ending
Here’s the detailed Shay & Vella Finale walkthrough courtesy of the creators. After the the Mog ships have collided in front of the Plague Dam, Shay and Vella need to figure out a way to get unstuck.

Choose Vella:
• Go to Hallway Bedroom
• Pick up the bustedSafety Hexipal
• Look on the back of the Safety Hexipal to get the correct Safety Ability Codes
• Go to Mom’s Room
• Use the Laser Trigger
• A series of cutscenes will play, in one of which Alex will run through the door leading to the Lower Deck. Door to the Lower Deck is now open.

Switch to Shay:
• Split Screen plays and cuts to Pyramid Interior.
• Go through the now opened door to the Lower Deck
• Click on the Logbook to get the Harp Ability Code
• Head towards the Power Room, encountering the Droogs.
• Droogs prevent you from going to the Laser Switch.
• Go to Music Room
• Pick up the Broken Radio
• Go upstairs to the Dead Eye God Interior
• Use Broken Radio on Electrical Genius Hexipal who is dancing with Rocky (a cutscene plays where the Genius fixes the radio). Electrical Genius
Hexipal is added to Shay’s inventory
• Optional – Give Fixed Radioto Alex
• Program Electrical Genius Hexipal to use the Harp Ability
• Head to Empty Hull, towards the Power Room
• Use Electrical Genius Hexipal on Droogs. They now worship it and you by association — they will follow you around. Unfortunately, they’re still blocking the entrance to the Power Room, so you have to lure them to the music room to distract them.
• Go to the Music Room
• The Droogs stand by the door and as soon as Shay makes a motion towards the door, they appear to exit (ahead of Shay)
• To distract them, use Electrical Genius Hexipal on the Harp that’s in the room. The Droogs will now pretend to play the Harp and will not follow you out of the room (since their real object of affection is the ELECTRICAL GENIUS)
• Head to Power Room
• Get the Mallet from the power switch
• Walk round the back of the pillar
• Hit the Power Switch to restore power to the laser
• Go back to Music Room
• Pick up the Electrical Genius Hexipal from the Harp
• Reprogram the Hexipal for Safety Ability
• Combine Electrical Genius Hexipal + Mallet in the inventory
• Use Electrical Genius Hexipal + Mallet on Drum in the room. All the Droogs begin to make wild noise that summons Alex.
• Head back to the Pyramid Interior

Switch to Vella:
• From the Main Bridge head to Situation Room.
• Pick up SCRAP WIRE from console.
• Go to Nav Room.
• Wire the Safety Hexipal to Harp Playing Ability
• Climb down the stairs
• Use Safety Hexipal on Space Weaver’s Scarf to tickle him. Cutscene plays that summons Mom from her room.
• (If Shay has messed with the Grabbing Gary, causing Mom to shut it down, head to Mom’s Room, else head to the Main Bridge)
• Verify that the Boom Arm Controls setting is “Manual”
• Head to Main Bridge

Switch to Shay:
• Alex should still be distracted in the Music Room.
• Head to the Dead Eye God Interior
• Use Grabbin’ Garry Button

Switch to Vella:
• On the Main Bridge. Mom should still be distracted in the Nav Room.
• Use the Laser Trigger again!

How to figure out the Hexipal Wiring Puzzle Solutions:
The six glyphs each correspond to one of the six nodes on the back of the hexipal.
Let’s give them numbers…

Wire the hexipal like this using the three pieces of wire allowed for rewiring.
Note that the direction of the electrical pulse, does matter, and is denoted with “to” below…

Place the hexipal in the charge slot and it’ll show you a glyph corresponding to the node
numbers above. Draw these out next to each number.
Using this chart you can wire the hexipal in the correct order to match the patterns…
• Charge Up: Is the pattern for Shay in Act 2. Acquired from the photo in Hope’s Room.
• Dance: Is the default pattern for Shay’s Hexipal in Finale.
• Harp: Is the pattern used for Shay’s harp and Vella’s scarf. Pattern is acquired in Finale, Lower Deck.

How to Detect Earthquakes Using Your Mobile Phones

Did you know that you can use your mobile phone as a basic seismometer (to detect earthquakes)? our iPhone, iPad and most newer mobile phones can work as basic seismometers, the same instrument that is used to measure the magnitude of earthquakes and volcanoes. You don't need any app. You just need your built-in web browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc. so you can begin being a seismologist.

How to Detect Earthquakes Using Your Mobile Phones

Launch Google Chrome or the Safari browser on your mobile phone (or tablet) and then open this page. You should see a continuously moving waveform but if you slightly shake or tilt your mobile device, simulating seismic activity, the graph will capture these movements in real-time much like a seismograph.

The seismic intensity will vary depending on how vigorously (or slowly) you are shaking the phone (see the following screenshot) and will also change based on the orientation of the device. And you’ll be surprised to learn that this basic seismograph is written using simple JavaScript.

Most newer mobile devices have built-in accelerometers and gyroscopes and as you move the physical hardware, the changes in the orientation of the device and acceleration are detected by the browser which are then mapped into the seismograph.

The orientation and motion data are in turn captured by the HTML5 DeviceOrientation and DeviceMotion events of the browser. This works mostly on mobile devices but if you are using Google Chrome on the desktop, you can turn on the Accelerator option under Sensors inside Chrome Dev Tools to simulate motion.

When playing as a Warlock, there will be two different marks that will appear above the target's head, here's what they are:

IV. Skill Point Priority
I'll be discussing and making recommendations on where to place your skill points.

Point placement will be as [C#, T#]. Here's an image reference (Using Di'el's format) to make it easier to understand.
Once again, be sure to read up on Di'el's skill tree simulator to make things easier for you. Also, the point placements are meant for PvE. I got nothing for PvP right now, so maybe someone else will provide a point placement for that someday.

Mantra
Placement: [C1, T3]
Comment: Standard point allocation is C1.

Dimensional Bullet
Placement: [C1, T4] or [C2, T4] or [C3, T3]
Comment: C1 is good for solo targets that are CC-able, like Tower of Mushin for example. C2 is better for party when you have a LBM or Destroyer that can grab stuff. C3 is for AoE.

Ravage
Placement: [C1, T3]
Comment: What's not to like about having a 20% critical damage boost?

Warding Charm
Placement: [C1, T2] or [C2, T2] (User Preference)
Comment: Warding Charm up to T2 in either column will suffice.

Quell
Placement: User Preference
Comment: If you got extra points to spare, put it wherever you want for Quell.

Rupture
Placement: [C2, T3]
Comment: Basic point allocation. It does more damage and has no cooldown.

Summon
Placement: [C1, T3] or [C2, T3]
Comment: If you want stuff to die faster, put it in C1. If you want your familiar to survive longer then put it in C2.

Extinguish
Placement: User Preference
Comment: C1 if you want your familiar to blow up on someone or something, fun to use in PvP. C2 greatly enhances your party and awakens an ability, which allows it to deal a lot of damage than their original counter-part. C3 refreshes the cooldown of all skills up to 3 times.

Bounded Field
Placement: [C1, T3]
Comment: DoTs are always good. Take it.

Escape
Placement: [T1]
Comment: One point will do fine for PvE, and two points for PvP. If you got extra points to spare, you can go further in the tier.

Open
Placement: [T4]
Comment: Go all the way down.

Raging Spirit
Placement: [C1, T3]
Comment: Standard point allocation. Get the Hongmun skill book for this ASAP and go into T4. You won't regret it, cause you will do a lot of damage.

Protection Charm
Placement: [C1, T2]
Comment: Immunity up to 5 hits is good for you, cause you're squishy. Go to T3 if you got extra points to spare.

Border Slash
Placement: [C1, T2]
Comment: T3 is user preference. You can choose to either down, groggy, or stun. Stun is on a longer cooldown FYI.

Circle of Purification
Placement: User Preference
Comment: If you got points to spare, take whatever you want. C3 is useless for PvE, except for maybe PvP. Maybe.

Spirit Surge
Placement: User Preference
Comment: C1 if you need to extend the duration of mark for up to 3 hits. C2 if you want more damage and heals, but it's on a longer cooldown. Both are good, so the choices are for you to decide.

Command
Placement: User Preference
Comment: C1 does a knock back and marks the target. C2 will stun the target, which is required in order to do a self-stun.

Lunar Eclipse
Placement: User Preference
Comment: C1 if you want a longer immunity, but will put the skill on a longer cooldown. C2 if you want to root it as you SS, useful for something like Tower of Mushin when you need to root from time to time.

Nether Pulse
Placement: User Preference
Comment: Nether Pulse is the giant energy ball your familiar throws at a marked target. If you have points to spare, you can invest into this.

Circle of Gravity
Placement: User Preference
Comment: C1 allows the familiar to be a vacuum machine, which is annoying for PvP and useful for PvE when AoE'ing trash mobs. C2 is power boost. C3 for chi regeneration.

VI. Basic Skill Build
These are just basic builds when you reach level 50 with a divine level of 1. Make your own adjustments depending on either your own, or your party's needs.

How to Use: Copy the codes, open up Di'el's skill simulator, select "Save/Load Build" in the top right corner, then paste the codes in the white empty box and hit "Apply Code." All the points will automatically be placed for you, so you can see how it is set up.
