Hello Web Junkies! Welcome to another Ragnarok Online 2 guide. This time around I will be sharing a detailed information in how the meditatio skill of an Acolyte works. A lot of my readers are emailing me, and asking me on how does this skill works but the only problem is, I am also at the early stage of the game and haven't got any sufficient knowledge to provide you with good information :D.

That is why I decided to do a little research and I have found out some useful information regarding the Meditatio skill of an Acolyte. I have stumbled upon Playpark forum and notice a thread concerning this issue and I think, it's best that I share this information on this blog to help my readers access the information easily. So, here is what I have discovered about the meditation skill of an Acolyte in Ragnarok Online 2.

As you can see from the spreadsheet
He only gain an additional 8% with lv 1 meditatio for my current hit rate of 97.37% --> This means the Crit heal will be 2.08x of non-crit heal instead of 2x

Looking forward, with 100% hit rate (not sure if its even attainable) --> A lv 1 meditatio will be 2.17x while at lv 5, it will give 2.25x Having said that, this is only a test done based on lv 1 mediatio and his current set-up, so it may not be accurate Also, there still seems to be a difference of 0.36% between the theorised and actual effect

Which part is confusing? The determination of the BASE Crit modifier? The testing of the Heal crit modifier with lv 1 Meditatio?

First thing first, THIS IS ONLY 1 TEST, so it MAY NOT BE ACCURATE. More testing is welcome, especially in the determination of the BASE Crit Modifier and Heal Crit Modifier (Without Meditatio)

Please post your findings here in a similar format so that it benefits all of us support priests.

Having said that.... Firstly he determined what is the base crit modifier and MADE an assumption that this Crit modifier is the same for BOTH HEAL and Damage skill After which, he compared this crit modifier with the heal crit modifier and REALISED that there seems to be a significant difference of which he believe is due to the Skill Meditatio.

Note: When he was testing out the Heal, he did not use any buff or activate Sacrament

So the results is as what i have presented in the spreadsheet

In other words...
Extrapolating it with a 100% Hit rate (IF ITS EVEN attainable...)
At Lv 1 Meditatio: You will get 2.17x of the Normal Non-crit Heal
At Lv 5 Meditatio: You will get 2.25x of the Normal Non-Crit Heal

His conclusion was for every 4 points of investment in this skill is not WORTH the effect. Points are better spent else where like Sacrament, Sanctuary, Hell even a lv 1 DOT provides more Utility than a measly 0.08x more Crit heal amount If you guys still have any question , please visit his thread and ask him politely ;)
