Darkinglei's Ultimate Gold Making Guide on Dragon Nest [Updated]

One of the biggest challenge in playing Dragon Nest SEA is how to make money fast in the game. It's every players problem on how to obtain Dragon Nest gold fast so that they can purchase the items that they want. Other players will buy dragon nest gold from other players or even on non-legit websites which can ban their account for good. So, knowing that buying dragon nest gold can be costly and dangerous, the question now is, how do we make gold in Dragon Nest the legal and fast way?

Lucky you, I have been playing Dragon Nest SEA game for a very long time now and, I have some ways to farm gold for Dragon Nest SEA. So, let's cut to the chase and see Darkinglei's Method in Making Gold on Dragon Nest SEA:

Important Note: All the materials you will see below are based on the SEA server of Dragon Nest. Informations may differ a bit in your current server.

Level 24 Cap Gold Farming in Dragon Nest

Entering Minotaur Nest
At this level, Minotaur sets are valuable to every players. In fact, its price is very expensive that you can make a living on it. Be sure to always enter Minotaur Nest every time its available. If you are lucky enough, then you will be getting a Minotaur piece but if not, don't worry, as the materials needed to craft a piece can also be a source of your income.

Entering Dark Tower Magic Institute (Abyss Mode)
At this current level cap, you will surely love this dungeon as the chance of seeing a gold bunny is pretty good. In the gold bunny, you may receive plates which are expensive. In addition to that, you have high chance of getting tons of rough jewels and also epic low grade enhancement codes when you happen to see a royal chest.

Important Note: Do remember that at this current level, Abyss mode is pretty hard to finish without a good set. So, I strongly suggest that you equipped your character with a good set and make sure that it's level 24. If you cannot finish it on Abyss however, go with Master and hunt for rough Agate. This jewels can also be a good source of income in this current level.

Level 32 Cap Gold Farming in Dragon Nest

Entering Cerberus Nest
In this current level, Cerberus will be your ticket to becoming rich in Dragon Nest. Some level 32 epic jewelries, cerberus gears, skill plates and crafting materials (for CERB set) can make thousands of gold in just a day. Make it a habit going to this dungeon every time it's available.

Farming for Ordinary Jewels
This is really a great business at level 32 Cap. You will be rich within an hour or two with this method. One of the most expensive jewels in this cap is the Ordinary Ruby which is used to upgrade warrior's gears.

Now where do I loot this?
Most of the time, I have my fair share of luck finding Ordinary Ruby in Dried Marissa Spring. There, I can take away one or two ruby per run (but sometimes none). And aside from Rubies, I can also sometimes loot a crafting material (magic grade) from the boss which is very expensive.

Farming for Epic Intermediate Enhancement Code
Aside from farming rubies, you can also get Epic Intermediate Enhancement Code at Dried Marissa Spring, after the boss fight or when you happen to see a royal chest. The only thing you need to do is to run this dungeon in Abyss mode.

Bonus Tip: Warriors enhancement code and also diamond codes are very expensive in this level cap.

Level 40 Cap Gold Farming in Dragon Nest
At this level cap, gold farming is pretty easy. In fact, this sis where I got my first 98,000 gold in just one and a half month.

Comet Dust Business
This is one of the most promising method in gold farming. You will definitely earn thousands of gold with this method alone. The only thing you need is to know what items would yield the most comet dust if its extracted.

Why Comet Dust is Needed?
Comet dust as well as Comet tail and Sun spark are needed to exchange with Spiral or Vortex Code which can both enhance your desired gear(s) to your desired level. That is why these things are pretty valuable to all Dragon Nest players at this current cap, to enhance their Manticore and Apocalypse set.

With this method alone, you can acquire 2,000 gold in average per day (early stage of the level cap). Now let's go to the method.

First, you need to find Ordinary Agate. The dungeon which is considered to b a gold mine of Ordinary Agate is the Forsaken Islet Core. Enter this dungeon in Master mode and surely you will take away 7 or more OA per run.

Bonus Tip: You can also sell excess Ordinary Agate as this can also make a good living. One more piece of advice is that you should start this method as early as level 32. Remember that you can go on Forsaken Islet Core at level 32 and farm for Ordinary Agate.

Once you have the Ordinary Agate, it's time to hunt or buy, weapons or gears which yields the most comet dust or if not, the most cost-effective. To help you with this, I suggest that you go to the pages below later.

Entering Manticore Nest and Apocalypse Nest
Well there's no doubt that at this point that both Manticore set and Apocalypse set are the most valuable gears. Pieces of this items are really expensive at this current level cap and if you are lucky, you can get one from these nests. Not only that, you can also get a lot of fold from crafting materials used to craft one piece of the aforementioned set above.

Bonus Tip: I personally suggest to go on Hell Mode Apocalypse Nest as their are jewelries in this stage that are very expensive.

Entering Chaos Opening Baera
In this current cap, the skill fragments from the Chaos Opening Baera can be a good source of income. But the most valuable thing you will loot in this dungeon is the level 40 magic grade crafting materials used to create suffixes for your level 40 epic gears. The Wisp Life Stone in this current level is the most expensive crafting materials and if you are lucky, you can get a lot of this on this dungeon per run.

Gold Farming after the version 76 Patch (Level 50 Halloween Update):

We all know that comet dust/tail and sun spark are now gone in Dragon Nest SEA thanks to the version 76 patch update .Sigh :( and because of that, many players aren't sure if there is any other ways to gain gold in Dragon Nest SEA fast without spending real money to buy cc items.

Well, I tell you now that there are still hope for us NON-CC spender players. Luckily, I have found some new ways to farn and earn gold in dragon nest sea. Here they are:

1. Boosting Services (Farming Key of Dimensional Box)

Due to the version 76 update, I now recommend first farming for dimensional keys through boosting services. The benefit of boosting service is that your durability won't be lessen while farming for those dimensional keys. This method may earn cheap gold in dragon nest sea but the fact is, it will make you rich if you exert as much effort everyday doing this.

What levels would you want to boost?
In my opinion, I suggest you boost those players which levels ranges from 10-23. In this way, you can boost them in easy dungeons, specifically Sigh Canyon (Abyss) for level 10-15 character and Dark Tower Magic Institute (Abyss) for level 15-23 characters.

Once you have plenty of dimensional keys, you can:

a. Sell it on Trading House for fast gold. Currently, one stack of Dimensional Keys cost 25-31 gold.

b. Use it to go to Lotus in the Chaos Opening to hunt for level 50 crafting materials.

- This is really a good business for me. Even though the prices of the level 50 crafting materials has gone very cheap, still, it's a good business as the drop rate for those in demand materials on the Chaos Opening is really good. Normally, I would get 2-3 Worn Gear or Noble Lady's Ring or Dragon Follower's Emerald per one run in the opening, which can then be sold for 40-45g a piece (all the mentioned crafting materials) in Trading House. Also, you can get Fragment of Glittering Skills in this Chaos Opening which is also a good gold making business.

c. The last thing you want to do with your Chaos Opening is to carry at least one stack of it on your inventory while diving into level 40 or up dungeons at Abyss difficulty. In this way, you can gain useful and highly demanded Epic heraldy skill plates if a Golden Bunny do appear at the end of the run.

2. Doing 10 Ladder Matches Every Week

So far I had so much fun with my Gearmaster named xHolyShotx (Hollywood) doing ladder matches and, farming to earn gold  from level 50 crafting materials. How I earn fast gold on Ladder Match? Simple. You just enter Ladder Match in either 1:1 or 3:3 battle and earn ladder match points. I suggest that you at least do 10 battles a week in ladder matches and keep your ratings at 1800 as much as possible. In normal circumstances, I can earn 800 ladder points or more every Saturday at 9:00AM GMT+8 and, most of the time, I got a Worn Gear (which is sold for 40-45g) at Trading House.

Important Note: Remember to exchange the ladder points with the Level 50 Green Suffix Material Pouch and no other! And, you might take a look at these:

At around 1500 ratings to 1800 ratings, 10 games will give you around 800+ ladder points
At around 1800 ratings to 2000 ratings, 10 games will give you around 900+ ladder points
At around 2000 ratings to 2200 ratings, 10 games will give you around 1000+ ladder points.

3. Hunting for Polished Alteum and Level 50 High Grade Codes

I did not think that Polished Alteum would be expensive and can make you rich if you sell it in stack. At current state, the price of one stack of Polished Alteum is 340 gold at average which is really good for business. One dungeon I often loot Polished Alteum is at Ancient Armory West Side. While playing Gearmaster, I can run the dungeon in Abyss mode without having any difficulty and I get to loot 2 Polished Alteum per run (in my case) in this dungeon.

The second thing that you may want to hunt is the High Grade level 50 codes which can be looted at level 50 dungeons located at Lotus Marsh. The price of Diamond Code, Agate Code and Crystal Code are pretty good for business. In Holywood the prices of the following Codes are 310 gold, 260 gold and 280 gold respectively. And also, don't forget the High Grade Revert Code which can be sold for a whooping 450 gold.

Important Note: The only downside of this gold farming technique is sealing the codes as it takes a lot of luck doing so. But if you are lucky enough, then probably you will become a millionaire in no time with this technique alone.

Bonus Tip:  I suggest that you go with a party while doing this gold farming technique as it would be easier.

4. Enter All Nest Every Week

Every week, we are provided with entry pass in each Nest and, I think it would be a good idea to enter on these dungeons every week. If you are lucky enough, you can loot gears in Nests, especially from Gigantes Nest, Archbishop Nest and even at Sea Dragon Nest which is good enough to make lots of gold. Not only that, you might also loot accesories such as Apocalypse Rings, Necklace or Earrings and also, you can loot some useful plates especially those which are very expensive. Say, Critical Plate with FD 3rd stat, with this, you can be an instant millionaire in Dragon Nest SEA.

5. If Possible, Join Every Dragon Nest SEA Event

Like the event planner Irine always said, "joining and event is the best way to rest and relax". However, she forgot to mentioned that joining events can earn lots of gold in Dragon Nest SEA. Just take for example the June Daily Login Madness that was held last June which has given lots of players lots of gold.

6. Buy CC Items and Sell It!

If you're a hardcore gamer, well, the best way to earn gold fast in the game is to buy cc items from the shop and sell it for gold. If you have enough real money to support your gaming endeavor, then go buy some CC items but if not, best that you stick with methods 1 to 5.
